(500 ml can, in Denmark). Beautiful amber colour, good head. Some corn sweetness, fairly neutral flavour, moderate to low bitterness. No foul taste, but far from being a great beer.

This version of Faxe is a amber/copper light brownish colour with a decent sized head that is gone quickly. The smell is not pretty, don't know what its supposed to be but not attractive.
Doesn't taste bad, a slight thickness to the texture. The good thing about this beer is though it is not great, at least the taste is the best quality.

Based on a 500ml can. On cracking the tab, there was absolutely no sound, or pop, or fizz, or splish of any kind. The beer pour is very reminscent of some of the more popular Japanese beers (eg., Sapporo Draft) and appears very similar in style too -- a light copper color, minimal carbination, small 3/4" head which quickly givesd way to sparse rings on the outer edge of the glass; however, this beer leaves no lacing on the glass.

Taste is OK, but nothing to rage about. Very mellow, extremely low hop value and little in the way of carbination. I'm a fan of Dortmunder styles and this one is among the most boring I've encountered. Flavorwise, there's little to be excited about here too, with nothing more than mellow aterdowned flavors hitting the tongue and doing nothing more than making you feel a little bloated.

There's better options out there than this one.
