Copenhagen 18/4 2020. 33 cl can from Min KĂžbmand, Frederiksborgvej, Kbh NV. Royals usual design in greenish blue with stylized corn ears and hop flowers.
Pours clear, golden amber with a medium-sized, bubbly white head. Settles as flimsy, thin patch of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense with a malty sweetness and a very light citric tartness. Caramel, sweet pale malts. Citrus concentrate. A whiff of sour arm sweats and metal.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, watery, tingling texture.
Flavor is mediu intense. Medium strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a light bitter undercurrent. Semi-dry finish.
Quite malty and not very bitter for a IPA. Fairly uninteresting.
