Copenhagen 12/12 2022. 50 cl bottle Fram Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Albani's usual Anarkist brand design with a red label and a couple of red noses wearing glasses.
Pours unclear hazy orange with a mid-sized off-white head. Stable. Settles as thin, almost transparent layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, malty odor mingling with a toasted scent. Sweet, caramel, toffee and bread. Toasted malts. Burnt notes.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger bitterness. A bit tart and rough. Aftertaste is a bit thin but bitter with a sweet undertone. Lingers for a bit. Finish is rather dry.
Decent Red Ale which manages to be surprisingly tart and bitter.
