Anarkist Milk And Cookies is inspired by the many creative 'Pastry Stouts' that come from many of the more experimental microbreweries.
Here we have made a pastry brown ale with Christmas in focus, so the use of cinnamon, cocoa, honey and vanilla as well as a large lactose content gives almost a dessert in the glass.
Definitely a beer to treat yourself to on a cold winter's evening. The beer has a high residual sweetness with lots of spices.

Copenhagen 13/12 2021. 50 cl bottle from Kvickly, Nørrebrogade, Kbh. N. Red label in the usual Anarkist design with a drawing of a cookie taking a shower in milk.
Pours opaque dark brown with midsized light beige head. A bit bubbly. Settles as a thin patch of foam floating in dignified lonesomeness. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sugary, sweet, candy-like odor mingling with Christmas spices. Toffee and lactose. Brown sugar and cocoa. Cinnamon and vanilla.
Light carbonation. Sightly thick, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly more moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is sour milk with a sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is spicy and semi-dry.
Quite heavy on the Christmas spices but not as sweet as I feared.
