Lottrup hopped Christmas lager is something as rare as an easy-drinking Christmas beer. With its beautiful light color, dense chalky white foam and high carbonation, it could well look like an innocent pilsner, but once you put your mouth to the beer, you get a somewhat fuller experience.
The aroma is floral and offers the light, soft grape-like bitterness of the hops, which makes the beer particularly suitable for tasty Christmas lunch dishes.

Copenhagen 21/12 2020. 50 cl bottle from Føtex, Frederikssundsvej, Kbh. NV. Label in dark burgundy with flotsam and jetsam including hats and bicycles collected in the form of Christmas tree.
Pours clear yellow with a mid-sized, white head. A bit bubbly. Settles as thin layer of foam. Almost transparent. Just able to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense with sweet malty odor mingling with a bit for grainy sourness. Sweet pale malts, caramel. Hints of citrus.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, oily, tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a lighter bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish and lingers for a while. Finish is sweet and a bit thin.
Just another Pale lager with a Christmas Tree on the label.
