To celebrate Anarkist good friends from D-A-D's 40th anniversary, they have developed a very special beer together. Lead singer Jesper Binzer has a penchant for delicious IPAs and preferably on the bitter side, but at the same time recognizes the growing trend for light and refreshing beers.
They have therefore risked it all and developed a Cold IPA with both old virtues and modern islet.

The beer is light and refreshing with a strong foam. At the same time with a potent aroma of both classic floral notes and foreboding citrus, as well as the style-typical "dankness" from a strong hop dosage. It uses both neoclassic American hop varieties, as well as something completely new and exciting from the southern hemisphere.

Copenhagen 16/6 2024. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. A celebration of the 40 year anniversary of Danish Rock Band Disneyland After Dark. Colorful figures depicting the band of the can.

Pours unclear pale yellow with a mid-sized white head. A bit bubbly. Settles as thin patches of foam floating about. No lacing to speak of.

Aroma is medium intense with a sweet odor of strawberry milkshake and sweet canned fruit mingling with a subdued citrus scent. Cnned peach, white sugar. A bit of lemon and lime. A bit perfumed.

Strong carbonation. Thin watery, lively and tingling and bitt fizzy texture.

Flavor is medium intense with a light sweetness followed by a medium strong citric bitterness. Aftertaste is sourish with a notable sweet undertone. Lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry.

Good old D.A.D could have used a more wholesome celebration.
