We have spiced this Witbier with hops from New Zealand and the US, and given the beer a shot of rhubarb to bring the Danish spring into the can.
A full-bodied and refreshing wheat beer with spicy notes of green pepper, forest floor and a hint of citrus. Perfect for the arrival of spring.

Copenhagen 20/4 2024. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Light blue version of Albani's usual brand design with a hand holding a bottle containing a nose sprouting vines and a floating eyeball.
Pours opaque, slightly dirty yellow with a small white head. Bubbly. Disappears completely after 10 seconds leaving only meagre remnants of foam behind No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with a bit of citrus and spice. Sweet wheat malts, white sugar, lemon anf oranges. Coriander and nutmeg.
Strong carbonation. Thin oily, lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a light sweetness followed by a medium strong tart sourness. Aftertaste is sourish with a sweet undertone. lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry.
Lemonade-ish take on a Belgian Wit.
