Lottrup American Wheat Ale is a classic, fresh and easy-drinking wheat beer.
In the best Lottrup tradition, the beer has been given a nice makeover with American hops, which makes the beer extra fresh.

Copenhagen 5/6 2020. 75 cl bottle from Netto, Utterslevvej, Kbh. NV. Green and yellow label with Malthe Lottrups somber face.
Pours unclear - almost hazy golden yellow with medium-sized white head Settles as thin layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweetish, lemonade--like odor and citric notes. Oranges, white sugar, sweetish lemon, citrus.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a fairly strong, fruity sweetness followed by a lighter citric, sourish bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a light sour citric undercurrent. Finish is semi-dry.
A bit generic Wheat beer where I fail to detect the American inspiration.
