Copenhagen 13/3 2021. 33 cl bottle from Føtex, Husum torv, Husum. A part of Lottrup's new infatuation with Greek mythology. Minotaur with a huge gold key on the label.
Pours opaque dark with a small off-white head. Disappears fairly fast leaving what looks like Coca Cola behind.
Aroma is moderately intense with a sweet malty lightly toasted odor. Caramel, biscuit and sugar. Toasted malts. Light hints of something metallic.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, oily, lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a rather strong sweetness followed by a moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a sourish undertone. Finish is semi-dry.
A Brown Ale that is quite much on the sweet side. Not bad.
