Copenhagen 2/1 2018. 33 cl bottle from Meny, Østerfælled Torv. Demonic looking Harlequin on the label to support that the Theodor Schiøtz label is producing a series of beer for Tivoli.
Pours clear amber with medium-sized, stable head of dense foam. Settles as thin layer almost able to cover the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is on the sweet side. Not terribly intense. Caramel, white sugar, malty sweetness. Not much else.
Medium strong carbonation. Medium thick, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor has strong sweetness followed by a metallic bitterness. A little alcohol peeking in. Aftertaste is lightly bitter with a sweet undercurrent. Lingers for a bit.
Pleasant enough, gentle Bock which more or less does what it is supposed to.
