Copenhagen 26/12 2018. 75 cl bottle from Føtex. Comes with a good of some kind of rubber made out to look like sealingwax. Only to reveal a metal cap. Serious looking Black label giving the basic information (name, brand, ABV).
Pours opaque dark brown with big beige head. Settles as bubbly, patchy, thin layer of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer.
Aroma is rich sweet and acrid without being unpleasant. Dark chocolate, molasses, strong coffee, a liquor-like alcoholic presence.
Light carbonation. medium thick, oily texture. Rather sticky.
Flavor is heavy sweet followed by light coffee bitterness. Aftertaste is more bitter than sweet. Lingering.
Prominent and Powerful Imperial Stout with a solid infusion of coffee. The Bourbon is more subdued. A more than decent take on the style.
