Copenhagen 11/4 2015. 33 cl bottle from Lidl, Lygten, Kbh. NV. Golden label with a green stripe with the brand name in white letters. Produced for the German supermarket chain Lidl.
Pours amber with a nice white head. Unfortunately it disappears fairly fast. No lacing.
Aroma is malty and very sweet. Pale sweet malts, bread and grains.
Medium strong carbonation.
Flavor is surprisingly bitter with metallic notes of alcohol. Aftertaste is bitter and a little unpleasant.
Not a fantastic Easter beer but above average for the Karlens brand.
