Just tried their "Premium". As a result, I'm not looking forward to this.
Less strong alcohol percentage than their Premium. Maybe this has more hops? Let's find out.
Looks ok initially but the head dies fast.
Aroma is a little more hoppy than the Premium. Which improves it massively.
Wow. Much better than the Premium. Lighter malt and less strange off flavours, more honey and hops. Hops are kind of difficult to describe, they add some bitterness that creates a little bit of contrast with the honey flavour from the malt. In the background though there are still lots of dodgy skunky metallic flavours happening. Mouth feel is thin without much aftertaste.
This is the 2nd worst Danish beer I have tried. Now I kind of understand why Carlsberg became to big if this is their main competitor.
