Tasted in a 12 oz snifter from draught at Firkin on April 8, 2016. Look is copper with a creamy white head and lingering lacing. Smell is citrus, fruit and bread malt aromas. Taste is citrus, grapefruit with biscuit and bread malt flavors. Feel is medium in body with a smooth mouth feel and somewhat bitter finish.

Picked up a growler of this before a trip up north. This was fantastic.
The taste was mostly citrusy and hoppy like a good imperial IPA should be. The grapefruit though was just substantial enough that it added a nice tanginess to the flavor. I think it also even added a little bit to the mouthfeel. Very easy drinking so if it is in fact 9.25 abv, the alcohol is well hidden.
Tyranena is really starting to do some great stuff. Whether it is a collaboration like this or one of their own beers, they are all much improved!

On tap at the brewery. Poured into a bowled out pint glass. Nice golden body with a soapy white head. Big aroma of citrus and fruit. Tastes amazing. Big bitter flavor, some malt, but not much, and a huge amount of citrus. What I really enjoyed was the hint of grapefruit. Usually grapefruit IPAs come out more like a shandy, for instance Grapefruit Sculpin, this one still seems like a beer. Nice touch with the grapefruit.
