Picked this up in Wisconsin when I was there for the Heartbreakers/Stapleton show at Summerfest 2017.

Pours a solid amber color. Mango and crystal malt be ye culprits me suspects. 1/3" white head. Aroma was mango, less Mosaic hops, didn't punch hard like they can when used in greater quantity prolly.

Taste had more bitterness than expected, thought the mango would make it sweeter and less bitter, but that didn't happen. Just as much caramel feels as there is mango. The Mosaic hop isn't pushing much weight here. Or maybe the mango overshadowed it. Once again, I'm convinced that Wisconsin makes a great world class version of just about every style of beer except for an ipa.

For me the bitterness and the alcohol in the mouth feel really set this into the average-ish range more than so many of the great double ipas do. Upped malt quantity in exchange for luscious Mosaic hops. Should be the other way around. This one went in looking for balance when I went in looking for Mosaic dank. Oh well.

Looks like I found an old four pack at Haskells in White Bear Lake.

Seems to have held up pretty well. Nice touch of mango....hos may have faded some...a lot of caramel malt on the flavor and aroma. Still decent enough. A bit sharp on the alcohol still.

Aroma is fruit, a bit like a red wine. Smells sweet. Golden clear light amber, lightly carbonated, creamy off-white head fades at a moderate pace to a bubbly cap, leaving thick lacing, especially if you tip the glass. Thick mouth feel. Initial taste is muted fruit, not sweet. Then fairly strong bitterness asserts in the middle and into the finish and aftertaste. As the beer warms, and as you continue to drink, the bitterness grows and grows in the mouth. In the end, very bitter indeed, overwhelming the mango taste.

Pours clear, orange in color with 1/3 inch head. Taste is mango and wheat bread. Mango lassi flavor is really dominant on the finish. Slightly sweet, heavy bodied, with moderate carbonation. Makes for a slightly above average IPA. Love the name, wish the mango was more prevalent.

Pours a soapy, off-white head. Soft, slightly citric aroma. Clear, golden color. Starts with a bright, citric bitterness. Lots of notes of citrus rind and pine behind it. Bitterness lingers into the finish.

This isn't as mangoey as I was hoping. These days, "citrus" or "tropical" IPA's are ridiculously tropical, and this is more "traditional" in the hop profile. It's a solid IIPA, though.

12oz bottle, served in a snifter glass. Pours a slightly cloudy lighter copper body, two finger white head, good retention and lots of lacing. Smell is caramel, toffee, mango skin and grapefruit hop aromatics, essentially a balanced DIPA; it's on the palate that the mango fruit comes across more, although it is a bit of a gummi sweetness, slightly artificial with caramel and grain with a bit of grapefruit on top. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, not thin by any means, with a mild citrus zesty bitterness. A solid DIPA, not bursting with mango like certain beers can be, but this is solidly constructed all around.

Poured a 12oz bottle into snifter. Golden orange with a decent 2 finger white head. Good retention that dies to a thin collar. Spotty lacing decorates my glass. The aroma is sweet and tropical with pineapples, passion fruit, and mango. I also pick up some faint citrus of orange and grapefruit along with some sweet bready malt. The hops stand out with juicy mango, and orange flavor. Other tropical fruits reveal themselves a bit later with bready malts. The finish is bitter pine and grapefruit. Medium body with ample carbonation that is bitter and dry. Another nice tropical IIPA.
