I had this beer on-tap at the brewery. I didn't realize it wasn't listed on the site already, otherwise I would've paid more attention! It was a rather mild-mannered Scotch ale that was extremely enjoyable.
This beer poured a dark brownish red in the glass, that was more gold-colored when light shone through it. It had pretty good head formation.
Aroma was of caramel malt and uncomplicated. Flavor was more complex, with caramel flavors melding with toffee notes and a more subtle peatiness in the background.
Mouthfeel was unremarkable, but I found this beer exceedingly drinkable for the style.
