A gorgeous poor, very dense creamy head It's sticking around.

Smell : 4.0 l 5.0
Old time hops, clean fermentation

Taste: 4.50 l 5.0
There's a sharp distinctive note possibly hop derived, but also an inherent sweet malty character. There's something very delicious here.

Mouth feel: 4.5 l 5.0
Lacing galore down the glass. There's a lot of structure protein. This is well made. The sweetness continues into a caramel malt goodness... Reminiscent of salted carmel. It's medium body but light, clear, bright notes.

Overall 4.5 l 5.0
I'm very surprised how delicious this tastes!

12oz bottle. No dating information found.
Partly cloudy, medium amber colored body. Just a little off white head upon pouring, and this sticks around as an island and thin ring. Scattered tiny lacing spots.
Aroma is a lightly toasted and woody malt smell along with a minor note of earthy hops.
Taste is toasted malts with flavors of grain and caramel. Hops give off an earthy, fruity, and spice tone. Mineral note. Aftertaste is long with all of the flavors.
More than medium mouthfeel. Crisp finish but also some mouth coating. Good carbonation.
Easy drinking and mellow, with lots of flavor.

12 oz. bottle, no date, and acquired from the Janesville Woodman's who is notorious for selling me stale beer.

Poured to Duvel stemware.
A: It checks out; the beer pours a nice crisp copper color, with some good clarity. Finger of khaki / tan head that falls quick.
S: Aroma is decent enough; fairly crisp, almost cidery / appley at times. Lightly earthy, herbal, grassy, bready, but it's still giving me orchard vibes..
T: Taste follows; crisp, creamy, fruity. Notes of apples, grassiness, herbal spice, hop cone bitterness. A bit bready, with some coiny metallics on the finish.
F: Crisp, smooth, easy-drinking. Bitter & dry hoppiness on the finish..

Overall, decent day-drinking stuff from Tyranena. I've always liked the quality of the beer they put out.

This is a 12oz. bottle dumped into my Tyranena pint glass. It starts nice, a one plus finger of light tan foam over a slightly hazy amber beer. The head quickly fades to a thin cap, no lacing is left behind. The carbonation is very light.
On the nose we have a very pleasant aroma of sweet caramel, fresh biscuit malt.
The flavors are subtle and hidden a bit by the hops. There are the roasted malts, that are sweet, but they are covered rather quickly by the crisp hop slightly bitter finish finish.
The mouthfeel is medium and maybe somewhat more creamy feeling because of the light carbonation.
This is an easy one to enjoy, I would never turn down a "Mangy Fox".

12 oz bottle poured into a goblet/tulip glass. Pours a clear copper color with a moderate off-white head which mostly fades away with little lacing. Aroma and smell feature lightly toasted caramel/biscuit malts with a hint of coffee and chocolate, and light citrus/earthy hops. Almost reminds me of a brown ale. Mouthfeel is creamy and moderately carbonated. A solid beer that tastes like beer.
