Got this as an extra in a trade with hoppymeal. Thanks! Looks like I am the first to review the bottled version. I hope this beer I am drinking is the one in the database, because my bottle says "imperial stout" and it is just called Flying Buffalo rather than Norm's Flying Buffalo. Anyway...
Pours black with a finger of head that recedes quickly but leaves a ring around the top of the beer. There is an odd sweetness in the smell, blindfolded I would think that this was a wheat beer. Clove and spices dominate. The wheat elements are not as present in the taste, but the sweetness comes in full force. There is also a sourness that comes along along with it, which unfortunately I despise in stouts. Almost like rotting fruit? On the full side of medium bodied with a bit of a carbonation sting, this one is just not drinkable for me. But hey, it was an extra and I am thankful for the opportunity.
EDIT: After reading the review below me, this can't be the same beer. I got almost no sense of coffee or chocolate. Perhaps my bottle was infected?

Heavy roasted coffee and dark chocolate malty aroma.
Medium body with a smooth texture.
Heavy roasted balanced flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of long duration.
This is a standout beer
