Copenhagen 9/4 2016. 50 cl can from Føtex, Mimersgade, Kbh. NV. The classic brand design with the red stripe - reminds me of Trafik Cafeen where you could get Albanis Odense Beer as the cheapest on the price list.
Pours clear light amber with a white head. Stable. Settles as a thin layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is sweetish. Light caramel and toffee. Bread and a hint of sour grains.
Medium strong carbonation and watery palate. Lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is lightly sweet. Aftertaste is short and sweetish. Only very moderate bitterness.
Very generic run of the mill "Classic".

Half liter draft in Qaqortoq, Greenland. Nice beer. Would drink it again.

July 2002: Decent on tap (except that all Danish draught beers are served too cold). Dark golden colour. Fairly malty, lacks hops.
More recently sampled from bottle in Frederikshavn. A quite boring beer, but not awful.

it is rounder and more well balanced than other danish classics such as tuborg or ceres, but it is by no means a good beer. it is allright and i like it as a beer one drink many of. it is a rounder pilsner but not a dunkel. it is fine to binge drink but not as a interesting beer experience.

purchased in the 7/11 in fredericia train station and consumed on the train to bramming. drinking beer on trains in europe being completely and utterly normalised is crazy to me, but it works here. this beer really hasn’t got a lot going on at all, white bread malt flavour, a vague sweetness, and some light bitterness on the finish, light in body with medium to high carbonation, watery, it’s refreshing enough, a welcome cold can on a warm train, but it’s not a great beer by any stretch of the imagination

Pours a clear amber color with a small, froth head to it.
Smells of sulphur and hay, not pleasant at all.
Has a light, medium carbonation with a watery presence from start till end.
Tastes of slightly spicy yeast, water and a caramel peak. Develops even more spices then, coated by wheat and soothed by the prominent watery quality.
Its aroma is quite off-putting, its taste is a little fuller than the other industrial danish Lager beer - still not convincing.
