Copenhagen 1/9 2015. 33 cl bottle from Kiwi. Very Easter inspired yellow label with daffodils and the mandatory crown.
Pours clear golden yellow with a white head. A bit bubbly. Settles as a thin layer of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer quite quickly. No lacing to speak of.
Aroma is malty with sharp notes of chemical soap, marcipan and metal.
Medium strong carbonation. Quite watery lively texture.
Flavor is metallic and rather bitter. Sweet malts and a rough bitterness.
Not a very pleasant Easter experience. They do declare that "Easter beer is a part of the resurrection" but it is not supposed to wake you from the dead all by itself.
