Copenhagen 14/6 2015. 50 cl bottle from SuperBrugsen, Nørrebrogade, Kbh. N. Green label where the grumpy face of Theodor Schiøtz - the founder of Albani - is looking brusquely at me.
Pours clear yellow with a prominent white head. Stable. Settles slowly to a thin lyer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is a little tart and acidic. Some sweet malts chiming in. Gooseberries and green apples.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is a tad watery and sweetish. Mild bitterness for balance. Short bitte aftertaste.
Not much of the announced quinche and apple around. Fairly uninteresting.
