The Godt Bryg series celebrates the proud Danish beer brewing tradition from 34 local breweries, the oldest of which was founded in 1832. "Godt Bryg" was used to describe the best beers, and we have been inspired by those recipes. Brewed with good ingredients, and the same pride in craftsmanship as back then, infused with everything we have learned about beer brewing since.
Look forward to tasting this lively golden Easter Bock, which with its freshness and fullness compliments the Easter lunch.

Copenhagen 19/2 2021. 50 cl bottle from Meny, Søborg Hovedgade, Søborg. Part of Royal Unibrew’s series of vintage Danish beers. Label is a reproduction of old label from Albani brewery in Easter yellow and green with a coat of arms and some corn and hops.
Pours clear, golden amber with a small, bubbly white head. Disappears morte or less after half a minute leaving what looks like a cup of Apple juice. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a malty, sweet odor mingling with a bit of alcohol and light sour, grainy notes. Sweet pale malts. Hints of caramel. Oxidized sweet apple. Light citrus.
Light carbonation. Thin, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a light sourish bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet. Lingers for a bit. Finish is sweet and semi-dry.
Very much on the malty and sweet side with a more modest bitterness.
