A fresh and hoppy India Pale Ale based on the popular New England IPA. Added generous amounts of wheat and a pleasant hop aroma of grapefruit and lime. Light grains and citrus dominate and the aftertaste is largely free of bitterness. Beautiful light yellow, cloudy and sparkling with a thick white head of foam. A Funen classic is born!

Copenhagen 6/2 2021. 50 cl can from Rema 1000, Frederiksundsvej, Kbh. NV. Another feature in their Albani special brand. The usual can design for the brand in a golden yellow version.
Pours hazy golden yellow - almost orange - with a mid-sized white head. Settles as thin, transparent layer of foam just coverring the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense with a sweet odor of wheat malt and some lighter citric notes. Sweet orange, white sugar. Light lemonade-ish citrus.
Light carbonation.Thin, watery, soft, Lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a medium strong sourish bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry.
More Wheat Ale than Indian Pale Ale. And a bit generic at that.
