Copenhagen 7/11 2020. 75 cl bottle from Meny, Østerfælled Torv, Kbh. Ø. What looks like a factory-city scape with sun rays shining behind it on the label. Looks a bit like a propaganda poster from the Soviet Union.
Pours clear, golden amber with a med-sized white head. A bit bubbly. Settles as thin, patchy, flimsy layer of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense with a sweet, malty odor mingling with sour grains. Sweet pale malts, bread and cardboard. A bit of a dry, hoppy scent peeking in.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, watery, tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a fairly strong sweetness followed by a light bitterness. Lingers for a bit. Finish sour-ish and semi-dry.
Quite much on the sweet and malty side. A bit generic and probably not too bad with spicy food. The spicier the better.
