Inspired by classic Witbier, this beer has been given a light, Nordic Schiøtz touch with a subtle flavor with juniper and rosehip instead of coriander and orange peel.
Fresh and very light taste with distinct wheat character with an almost imperceptible malt body, complemented by classic Belgian notes of carnation and banana as well as a Nordic touch of juniper and rosehip. Ultra-short and crisp aftertaste.

Copenhagen 19/6 2020. 75 cl bottle from SuperBrugsen, Brønshøj Torv, Brønshøj. Usual design for the Schiøtz brand with Theodor Schiøtz’ stern visage in gold with blue background.
Pours unclear - almost hazy - yellow with a small white head. Fairly stable. Settles as thin but consistent layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense with a medium strong sweet odor of orange and citrus. Lemonade-like. Lightly herbal odor of rosehips peeking in.
Light carbonation. Thin, oily, soft, smooth, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong citric sourness. Aftertaste is sour-ish and lingers shortly. Semi-dry finish.
Not as herbal as other beers in the Schiøtz brand and overall a decent take on a Witbier even though a bit thin.
