With a tropical touch Schiøtz unfiltered mango IPA is inspired by the American brewers. A fantastically fruity and fragrant, unfiltered IPA with a light fruity malt body and a lovely fresh aroma. Typical Schiøtz.
Loosely inspired by the NEIPA beer style, but without being quite as strong and creamy.

Copenhagen 9/11 2021. 50 cl bottle from SuperBrugsen, Nørrebrogade, Kbh. N. Red label with Schiøtz's. logo which looks abit like hand writing in orange.
Pours opaque, murky orange with a mid-sized white head. Settles as 0,4 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, fruity odor reminding me of the sugary fluid in a can of exotic fruit. A very subtle citric scent. Canned peach and mango. Hints of decay. A bit of citrus and clementine.
Medium strong carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, a bit creamy yet lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is moderately intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a more moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish and a bit thin. Finish is watery.
A bit thin but with lots of fruit - coming from a can unfortunately.
