Medium amber color and clear filtered. Full, sweet and creamy body, slightly lively mouthfeel with a relatively high carbonation. Inspired by classic Belgian blonde ales, this beer has been given a classic, Nordic Schiøtz touch through a very light flavoring with chamomile and sea buckthorn instead of coriander and orange peel.

Copenhagen 19/4 2019. 75 cl bottle from SuperBrugsen, Nordre Frihavnsgade, Kbh Ø. Theodor Schiøtz' stern face in gold in close up with yellow and orange in the background.
Pours clear amber with a big white head. Fairly stable. Settles as thin layer of foam just able to cover the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense, herbal and with a sweet fruitiness. Sweet caramel, white sugar and elderberry. Light herbal bitterness of buck thorn.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, oily, lively texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by a stronger herbal bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a light sweet undercurrent. Lingers for a while.
A bit too New Nordic for my taste buds. But does not takes it too extremes. Would probably be good fit for a solid lunch.
