Centennial Pale Ale is inspired by the modern American Pale Ale. It is light and has a thick, white head and an accessible malt body. An ale with a light body and a balanced amount of aromas from the floral and citrus-driven American hops.

Copenhagen 11/2 2019. 50 cl can from Meny, Østerfælled Torv, Kbh Ø. Blue version of Albani’s American inspired brand design (Albani Special).
Pours clear light amber with medium-sized bubbly, white head. Settles as thin , flimsy layer of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate Lacing.
Aroma is strange mixture of something fruity and something metallic. Sweet exotic fruit like peach, canned pears and melon. Citric bitter sour notes. Metallic odor peeking in.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, watery, prickly texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by a stronger citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and finish is semi-dry.
A bit too metallic and a bit generic. But not too bad.
