Copenhagen 7/5 2017. 50 cl can from SuperBrugsen. Very orange can in Albani’s series with American hops. So this is Belgian style Danish Witbier with American ingredients. Very cosmopolitan.
Pours hazy opaque pale yellow with small white head. Settles as very thin layer of foam barely covering the surface. Very moderate lacing.
Aroma is fruity and candylike. Bon-bon, orange, white sugar with subdued tart notes.
Strong carbonation and watery palate.
Flavor is quite sweet with only light bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet and sugary.
Nice and fruity and not as artificial as many Industrial Witbier can be.
