Copenhagen 15/4 2018. 50 cl bottle from Føtex. Golden and light green label with Theodor Schiøtz's visage up close.
Pours slightly hazy orange amber with a medium sized white head. Settles as a 0,5 cm thick layer of foam. Settles as thin transparent layer of foam with a thicker rim of foam along the side of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is fresh and citric. Citrus with an acidic touch, resin, pine and a light touch of the sweet malt base.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick texture.
Flavor is moderately sweet followed by stronger citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Finish is dry.
Not as herbal as many of the other beers in the brand. Maybe because the tart summer berries that has been added fits nicely in with the style. The result is a decently bitter IPA.
