Visited their new and improved tap room. It is a really cool space with a massive beer garden. There is an neat old Point pick-up truck in the garden, I guess they are going to grow hops in the bed of it.

Inside they went for what I would call an aged industrial look and it is well executed. Twin bars separated by a column. Lots of metal, wood and tin make for a very interesting visual space. Two main rooms and some snugs so seating should not be an issue.

32 taps of which 9 are their ciders. Beer selection is all of the Point and Whole Hog line plus options unique to the tap room. I had a dark lager, and a WI IPA that were tap room only options. I would love to see that IPA added to their line-up.

The service was friendly and quick.

I didn't do the tour on this visit, but this is where you come afterwards for beers.

Note that on some days (mainly weekends) they have food trucks and live music.

Nice selection. Good tour. Some of the beers are less than exceptional but more than s few are quite good. Milkshake porter. Onyx. Amber. Worth a visit if you’re in the atea.

A local brewery that has been improving and expanding recently. You wait to go on the tour at their gift shop, which, while cramped, is chock full of nice things- mainly clothing, but also a decent glassware corner and all of their beverages, including the sodas. Right on time, a guide leads us through a door on the left side of the entrance, which leads into the brewery proper. She gave us a pretty informational tour, although it was clear she wasn't involved in the brewing process, nor an accomplished brewer. The facility is an expansion on a preexisting structure, so there are some tight walkways and few obstacles in the way (particularly in the cooling room), but they are pretty well maintained and cleaned. At the end, they lead you back to the original room adjacent to the gift shop, and give out 3 samples (for which you receive 3 vouchers at the beginning). It's not as good as their previous sampling policy- as many samples as you can drink within 30 minutes- but for $3, you can't expect much more.

Visited Stevens Point Brewery. An old brewery (5th in the nation) and classic Wisconsin German style atmosphere. Tour was fun about an hour long and sampled beers. Cost was cheap $3. Very fun, I would not recommend this place though if one isn't into small town breweries. Yes this place does brew craft beer, but mostly brews American lagers that your grandpa would drink. Now the craft selection is very good but small. It’s Worth a try. O'so brewery and Central Waters are both twenty minutes away .
