The beer that started it all. This beer is a social, drinkable beer that’s easy to share with everyone. The aromatic malt gives our Nut Brown Ale it’s signature nut flavor. Select caramel malts provide sweetness, color, and depth of flavor. In the forest of craft beer, the better choice is South Shore Nut Brown Ale.

Sixx got a 6pck of this beer to share with the Chiefs during the Eagle River pond hockey tournament. It poured a dark clear amber with thin white head that is not leaving any lace. The scent had rich malt and nutty highlights. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with maple nut malt base. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall its a good beer.

L - medium brown color, off-white head
S - roasted malt, brown sugar, nuts
T - follows nose with grassy hops
F - medium body and carbonation
Decent. A bit watery and too hoppy for my taste in the style.

Pours a clear ruby brown with no head. No bubbles are visible. Smells of rich malt and nuttiness, with caramel notes as well. Taste is pretty much the same, malty and nutty with some caramel sweetness. There's an earthy undertone to the whole thing that's very nice. Medium mouth feel, very smooth and a bit of carbonation. Overall, a damn fine brown ale.
