Poured a clear orange with a small lingering head.
Smells mainly of toasted malts, a slight lingering sweetness.
Toasted malt in the flavor, with caramel. I'm not really picking up the maple per se, but there is a sweetness to it. Clean finish.
Medium-light mouthfeel, typical for South Shore.
This was perfectly drinkable. A nice clean taste. Nothing really stood out about it, but it was solid. Reminiscent of their Applefest ale, except with a different tree I guess. Hit the spot with some whitefish.
