4 oz tap pour into an American tumbler pint at the Great Lakes Brew Fest Friday night.
A - Clear amber-brown in color with a loose off-white head.
S - The aroma has a nice wet wood barrel nose with a solid dose of wine and hints of Belgian farmhouse spice to the finish.
T - Wet wood with lots of woodsy barrel flavor -no alcohol association- and largely wine-accented with a solid backing of spicy saison notes. A nice flavor blend.
M - Highly carbonated with a spicy feel to the finish. Medium-light bodied.
D - Very nice drinkablity for the wine aspect to it. It's got a great wine and saison balance without being over-the-top pinot.
