Clear dark amber, decent head with some nice lacing.
Not getting much in the smell, faint citrus pine note.
Major hop blast from this - fairly piney with some orange rind, pineapple, and a touch of alcohol.
Quite viscous, a thicker mouthfeel than most SS beers.
While quite hoppy, I felt that this could use a bit more balance. My personal taste is towards more citrus-forward IPAs, but I recognize there are pine lovers out there too. This was all right, but didn't quite live up to my high expectations.
