This beer maybe the first "red" that I have had that looked more like a Pilnser. I am thinking that there must have been a mix up at the brewery because this beer did not look or taste like a red. Poured a gold yellow with very little head that reminded me of MGD. Not much smell and for that matter not that much taste. If I ever get the urge to travel 2 hours to this brewery I will purchase it again. Until that time I cannot urge others to try it.

The lack of carbonation in this beer is really a turn-off...It is a real cloudy gold in color, and does actually have a little soft white lace...malty nose and the taste is OK..some toastiness and also some mild fruitiness on the finish....The mouthfeel is brutal do to the lack of carbonation...not recommended.

This beer is a deep hazy golden and has yeast particulates in suspension. Very little head given off. Pretty malty nose. Sweet caramel. The taste is malty and yeasty. But definitely not bitter in the least. Carbonation is really lacking in this beverage. Medium body. Smooth taste with hints of toastiness. Easy drinking, but not exactly full of flavor.
