Poured from a 12oz bottle into a Trillium IPA glass.
Look is a clear golden amber with a dense white head.
Taste is a nice hop aroma, I really like the use of calypso hops. However, I do agree with previous reviews of buttery malt. Not sure if this is on purpose, but not expected in a light pale ale.
I'm torn on this one. Better than I expected, but that butter note really threw me off.

This might be the worst Pale Ale I have ever had. I was concerned with the aroma but the taste was worse. Buttery and grainy malts with lemon rind hops. Tingly instead of dry.

I really enjoy this. Rye bread flavor. Buttery. Robust and lightly carbonated. Flavor lingers. Butter snap pretzels black velvet Elvis painting velour interior eighties Chrysler.

Nice looking pale - pours to a dark straw appearance with a white head of two fingers. Laces rather nicely. Smells very grainy and bready - almost what you'd expect from a German lager. Taste is grainy with undefined bitterness - no flavor nuances jump out at all. Feel is light to moderate with decent carbonation. Overall this is a poor representation of the style and one I have no interest in revisiting. Sand Creek should bring back Oleator Doppelbock - I would drink that again in large quantities.

Clear golden, head quickly dissipates, no lacing, chucks floating. Smell is bitter honey. Completely butchered this beer. No balance, flat, honey syrup, zero hop profile. This beer sucks. Drain pour
