poured from tap into snifter.
A - Black silk with a 1 finger tan head. Fades to a thin collar and nice spotty lacing.
S - Roasted malts with some milk chocolate and cocoa followed by caramel. Faint notes of bourbon, vanilla, and a touch of bitter chocolate.
T - Flavors of roasted malt and chocolate with some sweet caramel. Bourbon and wood are subdued along with hints of vanilla. The base stout is chocolaty and the barrel gives a bit more complexity.
M - Smooth with a medium body. Good amount of carbonation with a rich and creamy finish.
O - Similar to Tyranena's Doubly Down and Even Dirtier; this was a nice chocolate stout with a tame barrel presence. I'd have this again if I find it.
