Tasted this beer on cask by half-pint at the Evening Star, Brighton, on 24/06/05. It seems to be their new brew, as the beer did not even have its own designed beer clip~~
Appearance: it pours a dark yeloowish straw colour, with an off-white, rimmed beerhead and almost no carbonation is detected.
Aroma: light floral scent plus some aromatic, herbal note... can't really identify what spice is added but later on I was told that coriander seed made all the difference.
Taste: refreshing taste of aromatic floral hoppy flavour (almost like a certain kind of pollen?) is underlined by a very mild grapefruit-peel's bitterness plus peach blossom's faint floral sweetness... leading to a mildly-dry bitterness lingering at the back of my throat.
Mouthfeel & Drinkability: being a light-bodied and mild-flavoured beer, its mouthfeel is very lively, especially with some tangy feel in the aftertaste. Overall this beer is as quaffable as Dark Star's Hophead and Sunburst, but lacks a fuller flavour which is apparent in the latter two brews.
