Pours a nice gold. Clear. Good bubbly cask head. Nice lacings to the finish.

Honey on the nose with a solid hop backing. Big hit of... ginger?

Quite nice and refreshing up front. Good balance of aromatic hops and nice grainy malt. But the spicing strikes me as a bit much. Giner through the middle with some rather unpleasant, and a bit hot, spicing in the finish.

Walks the line but falls a bit to close to ginger beer for me. Spice is too pronounced for my taste. Still well made.

Sold under the name "Summer Meltdown".

The colour is straw yellow with a tint of gold. The low head is white.

The fresh smell is a bit fruity with notes of honey and lemon.

The taste is smooth with spicy notes of lemon, honey and some citric acid. Some earthy notes in the long aftertaste; elderflowers and lemon cordial.

The carbonation is mild; the liquid thick.

A real thirst quencher for the summer. Perhaps a little too much lemon-flavours?

Tasted this beer on cask at the Evening Star, Brighton last week. Beerymatt emphasised that this is a "real" ginger beer, and without too much experience of normal alcohol-free ginger beer I went for it without thinking too much...

A: in a half-pint glass it pours a cloudy, pale-yellowish hue, with a fluffy white head and very find carbonation.
S: upfront is a grapefruit-peel aroma, tangy as well as fruity; while the nose is dominated by hops, where about is ginger? I can't come up with much trace of it but surely there's a pinch of certain spices mixed in the aroma.
T&M: on the palate it tastes moderately malty behind a sharp hop flavour, paving the way for an interesting, slightly pungent spicy and very dry zesty flavour almost attached to the tongue... At the back a tangy kick of hops works well with gingerish flavour, mixed spice tea, and elderflowery(?) sweetish savour towards the finish. Good amount of bitterness lingers, balancing the lightly sweet spicy flavour. Very pleasant~~
D: very tasty spiced beer, flavoursome as well as thirst-quenching. I suppose having tried this "real" ginger beer I'd refuse to drink any normal ones in the future?!
