Double Bock??? Thanks for the translation!?
Well, I came into 2 22oz. bottles of this, probably at least 4 years of aging have gone into them.
Poured deep dark brown with a faint short head.
Smelled of booze from the get go...then again what else was I to expect from 4+ year old "double" bock. Of course we had some malty notes popping through.
Flavor was just like it smelled except for it was a smooth confluence of alcohol and malt.
Overall, I enjoyed the beet. Not great, but still good.

A new seasonal by a small Northern Wisconsin Brewer.
This doppel is a nice chestnut brown with a cream colored head. The smell is of sweet, dark malts but not overly complex. It has a medium/light body holding flavors of maple and caramel malts, with a lightly sweet/chocolate finish. An easy drinking but not very complex doppel.
