This beer is almost black. Thin white head. Aroma is of chemicals: acetic/sour, phenolic and solvent-like. Horrible. Taste is worse. I've homebrewed about 10 batches over the past couple years and I can not fathom how somebody can screw up a beer this bad. They would almost have to use vinegar or acetone for sanitizing and then forget to rinse the residue out. I decided this would be a good beer to evaluate at the end of a beer-evaluating night. Because if it was as bad as their pilsener, I wouldn't feel the least bit guilty about dumping and going to bed. Which I am.

Looks like a good dark beer...REALLY smells like a good dark beer witha roasty chocolateness fresh on the nose...but the taste...uhgg the taste...sour sour sour...again, like their regular pilsener it tastes like they poured several ounces of lemon juice into this. I have no idea what the problem in the brewing process is, but there is something wrong here. I wouldn't wish this beer on my worst enemy. I used to have a saying "There are no bad beers...some are just better than others"....I can't honestly say that anymore...this is BAD!!
