On tap at the Minocqua Brew pub. The waiter said this was their most alcoholic beer on tap. As much alcohol as two and a half bud lights. Does that line actually sell beer? Anyhow, I was having a malt craving, and reds usually do the trick.
The color was more brown than red, and there was a thin tawny head. The smell promised to fix my malt craving. Nice smooth and sweet taste. Enough hops to keep malt in check, but not a hoppy beer.
