16oz can. No dating information found.
Deep brown colored body, with seen debris at the bottom of the glass. Lots of foam throughout the pour process.
Aroma of sweet hazelnut over roasted malts.
Taste kind of follows the nose with a solid base of roasted, slightly bitter malts and the hazelnut flavors on top. Fades off quickly in the aftertaste.
Thin mouth feel. High level of carbonation.
A political statement beer with the Republicans portrayed as the minority laughing "nuts" (who get to use the filibuster.

Pours a medium golden brown with lots of carbonation yet a one finger head. The brew smells of hazelnuts through and through. Taste is light to moderate, somewhat watery but tasty. The hazelnut profile isn't as pronounced as in the aroma but still present nonetheless.
