Bear Naked Brown pours a brown color, with a small lacing head. Sweet malty aroma. Flavor is also sweet and malty, with a hint of nuts. Pretty good body, just a tad light. Overall, easy to drink, slight nut flavors.

4 oz tap pour into a mini pint at the Minocqua Brewpub in Minocqua, WI. Served as "Bear Naked Brown"
A - Plain amber brown that's clear with no head. Not very attractive for a brown ale.
S - Lots of dry nuttiness and amber malts that have a decent level of roastiness to them with out being too dry or dusty.
T - Awesome flavor of toasted amber brown malts with a hefty but well-balanced nuttiness. Great flavor!
M - Medium-bodied brown with a smooth feel and dry finish that's not too overbearing.
D - Their best beer so far, "Bear Naked Brown" has fantastic flavor. It's a very nicely done brown. A good beer for early fall. A tiny hint of alcohol comes through the finish.

had it as part of the paddle sampler.
a-brown, relatively clear. off white head left good lacing
s-malty and nutty, a bit of spice
t-it was actually very nutty, nice roasted malts, a little spicy touch.
m-low to medium carbonation, medium body
d-not too shabby. of the 7 i had, this one was in the top half, but nothing earth shattering.
