Had a 16oz can at the brewery store (taproom) in Minocqua, WI. Bought a single can for home.
Look: transparent light amber/dark gold body. Off white head that persist a little while leaving some lacing.
Smell: sweet malt, grain, bread
Taste, bread, grain, a little caramel. Slightly sweet over all but does have bitter elements. A hint of noble hop type flavor towards the finish. No off flavors, tastes fresh. Light duty flavor wise but not bad.
Plenty of carbonation that slowly releases from the bottom of the mug. Not really thick or thin.
Not a bad beer at all. But is this really a bock?
This beer is canned in support of Wisconsin public schools and against private school vouchers. Pure political beer.
I will give it a 3.79/5
