An unfiltered Zwickl beer that comes in a half liter swing-top bottle. Mildly sweet grainy aroma with a faint hint of floral hops. For an unfiltered beer it's amazingly transparent. The golden shows no sign of a haze and the streams of bubbles give it some life. Foamy bright white head fades slowly to a thin film. I poured the last third of the bottle and found the haze and rejuvenated the head. Faint malt flavor becomes a bit earthy/grainy towards the middle. There is a bitter bite that never takes hold in the finish along with a light warming feeling in my stomach. Light and smooth body full of fine carbonation. Nice aroma and mouthfeel, but it has that typical grainy Zwickl flavor that I don't care for.
