Poured a tall, light tan, foamy head that faded slowly leaving no lace. Deep brown colored beer is almost charcoal black in the center. Husky/grainy malt aroma with a funky hop aroma that almost smells like pungeant body oder. There really is no finish; the taste just disappears. Thin and watery mouthfeel keeps me from getting enough flavor. There's not really anything bad about the beer, but there isn't much to it either. I could definitely put a few down, but I don't want to.
This beer is nothing like any other Landbier I have had. It's basically a Schwarzbier.
