I found it at Discount Liquor on the South Side of Milwaukee, a place with a great selection of both beer in general and Wisconsin microbreweries specifically. I'd never heard of this before, but I thought I'd give it a shot. Has the motto "Best Beer By A Dam Site" on the label.
Appearance: Dark, glowing brown. Thin head that dissipated quickly.
Smell: Doesn't smell like much. Slightly nutty and roasty.
Taste: Wow, this surprised me. Given the lackluster smell, I thought it would be another rather boring nut brown ale; it wasn't. It exploded with a huge dry, roasty, nutty flavor in my mouth. Not a whole lot of character beyond that, such as Dogfish Head's Indian Brown, but what it does, it does very well. Simply tastes great.
Mouthfeel: Pretty thin. Carbonated appropriately.
Drinkability: I really like this beer. I'm glad I took a chance on it. Best beer by a dam site, indeed.

Thin brownish ruby color with a thin whitish head that left in a hurry, no real lace sticks. Smell is light malts of a slight roast and nuttyness, with a rather interesting chocolate undertone that helps a it out a smidge. Taste is rather lack luster though, slight roast and nuts, a bit sweet but tame in that regards with a slight starch or husk getting in the way and one hell of a quick finish, where'd it go, I thought I was drinking something? Feel is thin and watery, very inaffective body, nothing much going on here. Boring to say the least, shows effort but needs much improvement.

Clear medium mahogany brown with a slight copper cast. Very fine small white cap. No lacing.
Nose is generic base malt with a touch of caramel. Not much going on, and not much to make me think "Nut Brown."
Thin and grainy on the palate. Husky chocolate malt dominates. A bit earthy and showing no hop. Short finish.
Mouthfeel is OK, perhaps a bit over-carbonated for what is there. Certainly not an exciting brew, and not to style. Thanks to Ave for the sample and the warning!

Clearish darker nutmeg brown color. Very little head to speak of, 1/4 inch at first and gone in a minute. A lot of honey aroma and flavor, at first, pretty nice. The impression was very fleeting and this brew spent its carbonation in the pour -- therefore the finish was very weak and watery. I might have got a bad sixer here, the malty potential seemed lost in the mouth.

This beer pours a darker shade of ruby with a slight head that has no retention. There is a nice roasted nut aroma. And also good malt tones on the nose. This beer has a pretty nice nutty quality. There's a nice dryness on the aftertaste. Maybe a titch light in body for a brown (light to medium range). Some nice subtle chocolate tones and coffee tones as well. Now this beer, I would pay $6 a six pack for, but wouldn't need to seek it out.
