Pours slightly hazed golden with a lasting white head. Thin lacing sticks.
The smell is of some grain, a touch of lime, subtle grassy/floral notes.
The taste is of mild sweetness - lime, a touch of sulfer, a bit of grass. Light-bodied with a crisp finish.
Fits the style. An easy-drinking, rather refreshing brew.

On tap at Bluephie's in Madison, Wisconsin.
Pours a lighter straw yellow body, one finger white head with good retention time; nice filminess and lacing. Smells of rich bready malt, crackers, grain, a bit of noble hop aromas. Flavour is similar; grainy, crackery, bready, mildly earthy and grassy hop aromatics. Simple, straightforward dortmunder with nice aromatics; it is actually on the sweeter side than I'd prefer. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, good carbonation, sweet crackery malt on the finish. Overall, a bit too sweet but still a tasty and refreshing beer with a decent aromatic hop bite to it.

Crystal clear golden yellow with a 2.5 finger super foamy white head. Nice aroma of light grassy hops, toasted crackers and some grain. Nice flavor of toasted cracker malts, grain, and a smattering of grassy bitter hops. Very crisp even creamy in the mouth. This turned out very well Lake Louie.

Dark brassy golden body, substantial head of creamy foam. Lots of sticky lace that has heft to it and constant surface coverage. Bright clarity with racing carbonation.
Aroma has some bready biscuit malt sweetness, and lager yeast, thankfully clean and fairly simple.
Cleanly bitter with a lasting herbal grassiness of noble hops, and a nice toasted malt taste as well. Light and easy going, crisp and more bitter than most imports to suit American tastes. Overall this is a nice beer, it doesn't reinvent the wheel, it just works in a very balanced way. A fine summer session beer from Lake Louie.
